Dr. Wells

Dr. Lindsey Wells is a naturopathic physician who is joining KIDSPACE in October 2016. She graduated from the University of Bridgeport College of Naturopathic Medicine.

Dr. Wells is trained as a primary care physician and focuses on children with special needs and their families. She uses a wide range of safe and effective therapies including homeopathy, nutrition, botanical medicine, and water therapy to improve the health of her patients. Her approach to care is holistic and addresses the biochemical, nutritional, and energetic needs of the patient. She also uses specialized and non-invasive lab testing when appropriate, to facilitate effective and individualized treatment plans.

Her decision to specialize in pediatrics was inspired by working with special needs children early in her clinical training. It didn’t take long for her to realize the joy that working with children brings her. A large portion of her clinical education was spent learning from Dr. Miela Gruber and Dr. Sharon Vallone at KIDSPACE Adaptive Play and Wellness. She knew that this welcoming, caring, and healing environment was the ideal place to grow her practice.

Dr. Wells is passionate about family wellness. She believes that children thrive emotionally, physically, and academically when their families are healthy.

Dr. Wells is a dog lover and spends her time out of the office hiking and exploring the wilderness with her pup. She is an advocate for shelter dogs and sets herself accountable to finding at least two dogs safe and loving homes each year. She also enjoys relaxing with sewing and knitting projects.
